Motor Vehicle Inspector Stabbed by Coconut Seller in Andhra Pradesh due to License Issue

On Friday, March 17, in Kakinada town, Andhra Pradesh, an assistant motor vehicle inspector named Chinna Rao was stabbed by a coconut seller named P Venkat Durga Prasad. The incident occurred at the zilla parishad centre, where Durga Prasad was selling coconuts from a van. Rao had arrived at the spot as part of his routine inspections and asked Durga Prasad for the van’s documents. An argument broke out between the two, leading to a brawl. In a fit of rage, Durga Prasad grabbed a sickle used to cut coconuts and stabbed Rao. The police were informed and arrived at the scene to arrest the accused. Chinna Rao was taken to Kakinada government hospital for treatment.
