    Gadwal: A special event was held in Singapore to celebrate Telugu culture and traditions. Mahbubnagar Member of Parliament (MP) DK Aruna and her husband, former MLA Bharat Simha Reddy, attended the gathering. The event was organized by the Singapore branch of the Telugu Society and led by Pullanagari Srinivas Reddy.

    During the event, MP DK Aruna spoke about the importance of preserving the Telugu language and culture, especially for people living outside India. She praised the Telugu community in Singapore for actively celebrating festivals like Bathukamma, Bonalu, and Sankranti, which showcase the rich heritage of Telangana.

    She also appreciated the community’s efforts to teach Telugu language, literature, and traditions to children growing up in Singapore. DK Aruna encouraged them to continue spreading awareness about Telugu identity across the world.

    Community leaders such as Anugu Tirumala Reddy, Peddi Reddy Shekhar Reddy, and Pullanagari Srinivas Reddy thanked MP DK Aruna for attending the event. They expressed their gratitude for her support in promoting Telugu culture internationally.

    DK Aruna and her husband were warmly welcomed by the Veera Mangi Group in Singapore. The group, led by Geetha and Srikanth, made all the arrangements for their visit. The couple thanked them for their hospitality and praised the efforts of the Telugu Cultural Organization in the country.

    In her closing remarks, MP DK Aruna urged the Telugu community to keep working to spread the language and culture worldwide. She promised to support efforts to promote Telugu heritage in different parts of the world.
