In the first phase of the Chhattisgarh State Legislative Assembly election on November 7th, all liquor shops/bars within a 5-kilometer radius from the border of Chhattisgarh state will be closed. This decision was made by Mulugu District Collector Ila Tripathi, and the closure will take effect on November 5th at 5 pm.
According to a statement from Collector Ila Tripathi, the closure will be in effect from November 7th, 7 am until the end of polling at 6 pm. Any violations will be dealt with under the Excise Act.
