    The District Election officer and Collector RV Karnan announced that the Election Commission will release a notification on Friday regarding the general assembly elections. The entire process will be completed by December 3, which includes counting the votes.
    The nominations filing will end on November 10 and scrutiny will take place on November 13. Candidates can withdraw their nominations until November 15. Polling will be conducted on November 30 from 7 am to 5 pm. The counting of votes will occur on December 3 starting at 8 am.
    In the district, there are a total of 14,45,855 voters. Among them, there are 7,27,757 women voters and 7,17,977 male voters. Additionally, there are 181 transgender voters. A total of 1,766 polling stations have been arranged in the district.
    The Collector informed that political parties can obtain vehicles and permits online. Distribution and reception centers have been established in six constituencies within the district. The personnel responsible for transporting the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) from the distribution center will return to the same center after the polling.
    Counting arrangements have been made at FCI godowns located on Miryalaguda Road in Nalgonda. The Collector assured that all necessary arrangements have been made for the elections and requested political parties to cooperate and follow the rules.
    SP Apoorva Rao emphasized that tight security measures have been put in place since the filing of nominations begins on Friday. She urged political parties to adhere to the rules and cooperate with the police. Section 144 will be enforced at the Returning Officer centers, allowing only three vehicles with the nominated candidate and four other individuals into the nomination centers.
