Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced plans for new policies to boost industrial growth in the state.
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister inaugurated a new facility for Ichor Biologics. He emphasized that Hyderabad is a global leader in bulk drug production, with the city producing 33% of India’s vaccines and 43% of its bulk drugs.
Hyderabad gained international recognition during the COVID-19 pandemic by exporting vaccines from Genome Valley. Revanth Reddy highlighted that the government continues to follow the industrial policies of the previous administration without changes.
He also shared that Hyderabad aims to become a major data hub. The state has already secured investments worth Rs 3.28 lakh crore.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the goal of transforming Telangana into a $1 trillion economy by 2035. He urged entrepreneurs in Genome Valley to help achieve these objectives.
