Hyderabad: The new online slot booking system at Sub-Registrar offices is getting a strong response from the public. Because of this positive feedback, the government will expand the service to 25 more offices starting May 7.
Housing and I&PR Minister P. Srinivasa Reddy shared the update after reviewing the system’s performance. He said the service was first tested in 22 Sub-Registrar offices as a pilot project.
According to officials, about 94% of users said they were happy with the new system. During the review, the minister spoke directly with Vishnu Goud, a citizen who used the service at the Champapet Sub-Registrar office. Vishnu shared that while the service was good, faster internet would make the booking process even better.
Minister Srinivasa Reddy directed officials to roll out the slot booking system in all Sub-Registrar offices across the state by the third week of May. He also emphasized the need to introduce Aadhaar-based e-signatures soon. This move is expected to make property registration even quicker and more convenient for the public.
