Lucknow – On the eve of National Technology Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took part in the virtual launch of two major defense facilities in Uttar Pradesh. The event was led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
The newly launched centers include the BrahMos Aerospace Integration and Testing Facility and the Strategic Material Technology Complex, both located in Lucknow. These projects are considered crucial for strengthening India’s defense manufacturing capabilities.
Speaking during the event, Yogi Adityanath highlighted that Uttar Pradesh is moving forward with the Make in India initiative. He said the state is playing a key role in building a self-reliant defense sector, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a strong and independent India.
The Chief Minister also praised officials from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for their efforts. He congratulated the people of the state and acknowledged their growing contribution to the country’s defense strength.
These developments are expected to boost local industry, create jobs, and enhance technological innovation in the region.
