The South-Western Railway announced that a train arrived at the station around 5:45 a.m. on platform number three. At approximately 7:10 a.m., smoke was detected in coaches B1 and B2, and the fire brigade was immediately alerted. By 7:35 a.m., the fire service personnel had arrived and extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported as all passengers had already disembarked and the coaches were empty.
