Devotees at the Santoshimata temple in Nagarkurnool presented a one kg silver wheel to the goddess during the daily puja. The gift was handed over by Bachu Buchaiah and Pushpamma to temple committee members Bhagyamma, Rajeshwari, and Sivakumar. The temple chief priest, Alladi Prakash Sharma, received the silver wheel for decoration.
The special puja on the Vaisakh month Friday included various rituals like Abhishekam, decoration, kalashampooja, and more. Alladi Prakash Sharma conducted the ceremonies while Vedic chants filled the air. After the rituals, Annaprasada was distributed to 90 devotees under the supervision of Saraswati, Srinivasulu, and Lakshmi.
Committee members Venugopal Rao, Malipeddi Bhagyamma, Peddamarur Rajeshwari, Racharla Sivakumar, along with many women devotees, participated in the event.
