    In Gadwal, the legal metrology staff conducted inspections at shops and vendors selling daily essentials in Ieeja municipality. The inspections were led by inspector Chitti Babu. Previously, The Hans India had reported on traders and vendors cheating consumers. In response, the staff, directed by assistant controller Siddhartha, inspected 8 chicken centers and 5 mutton shops. They fined 2 mutton shops Rs 1,000 each for using lower weights to deceive customers.

    Additionally, the staff visited the HP Petrol pump at Uttanoor Chourasta, owned by Buchi Babu. They installed an electronic seal to prevent meter jumping and ensure accurate measurements.
