Today, on April 30th, 2023, the prices for petrol and diesel have remained the same across India. In Delhi, petrol costs Rs. 96.72 per litre, while diesel costs Rs. 89.62 per litre. In Hyderabad, petrol costs Rs. 109.66 per litre, while diesel is priced at Rs. 97.82 per litre. Chennai has a petrol price of Rs. 102.65 per litre and diesel price of Rs. 94.24 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol costs Rs. 106.31 per litre, and diesel is priced at Rs. 97.28 per litre. Finally, in Bangalore, petrol costs Rs. 101.94 per litre, and diesel costs Rs. 87.89 per litre.

It’s important to note that India heavily relies on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel, which means that crude oil prices have a significant impact on fuel prices in the country. Additionally, other factors such as increasing demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery concept ratio can also affect domestic fuel prices.
