Hyderabad: The School Education Department of Telangana has announced that online applications for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TG-TET-2024-II) will begin on November 5, 2024.
Officials have stated that interested and eligible candidates can access the online applications on the School Education Department’s website (https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in). The application window will be open from November 5 to November 20. The TG-TET-2024-II exam will take place in January 2025. The exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test, scheduled between January 1 and January 20, 2025.
Earlier this year, the department conducted the first phase of the TET between May 20 and June 2. The results for that exam have already been released. TG-TET consists of two papers: Paper-I is for candidates aiming to teach classes one to five, and Paper-II is for those who aspire to teach classes six to eight.
Additionally, in May 2024, for the first time, the TET was held for teachers seeking promotions to school assistant positions. Due to this, a large number of in-service candidates are expected to participate in the second phase of the TET exams, which will be held in January 2025.
