DCC president Shankar Naik criticized Challa Malla Krishna Reddy for rejoining the party without informing local MLA and DCC president. Naik called Reddy an opportunistic politician who had previously joined BJP after not getting a Congress MLA ticket. He urged party workers to question Reddy if he visits villages as a Congress leader.
Naik emphasized that any leader wanting to join Congress should consult with local MLA, minister, and DCC president first.
