Hyderabad: Osmania University celebrated its 108th anniversary with a special Foundation Day Walk on Friday. This walk marked the beginning of the bigger celebrations planned for Saturday, which will include cultural events, keynote speeches, and awards for academic achievements.
The walk was full of energy and patriotic spirit. Participants chanted slogans and showed a strong sense of unity. To honor the victims of the Pahalgam tragedy, everyone paused for a two-minute silence during the event.
University officials said that the 108th Foundation Day celebrations are meant to highlight Osmania University’s proud history and bright future. The events will include honoring outstanding alumni, celebrating academic successes, and sharing future plans for the university.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Kumar Molugaram said, “This walk is more than just a symbolic event. It shows our shared journey and our commitment to continue the legacy of knowledge, inclusion, and innovation.”
