Several prominent individuals have made generous donations to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund to help victims of the recent floods in the region.
On September 16, 2024, former minister Galla Aruna Kumari met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills. During the meeting, she presented a cheque for ₹1 crore on behalf of the Amara Raja Group. This donation is intended to support the ongoing relief efforts after the devastating floods.
In addition to this, former Member of Parliament (MP) Meka Pati Rajmohan Reddy donated ₹25 lakhs to the relief fund. He emphasized his commitment to helping those affected by the flood crisis. Sanjay Garudapalli, Director of Garudapalli Infrastructure Company, also contributed ₹25 lakhs to aid the flood relief operations.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the donors for their timely and generous contributions. He stated that their support is vital in the state’s efforts to provide urgent relief and assistance to the flood-hit communities.
The Chief Minister also praised the compassion and dedication shown by these individuals and organizations. He acknowledged their important role in helping the government carry out its relief initiatives during this challenging time.
