Karimnagar: A young talent from Padmanagar Paramita Heritage CBSC School, S Subhasree, is gearing up for the Sakura Science Exchange program by the Japan Science and Technology Agency.
The event starts on June 15, featuring Subhasree as a participant due to her Inspire Manak Award achievement. She created a groundbreaking agricultural machine to aid farmers, as mentioned by the school principal, Gopikrishna.
Subhasree, now in CBSE Class 12, earned the Inspire Award for a project she initiated in Class 9. With guidance from her teacher Lalit Mohan Sahu, she crafted an eco-friendly, versatile, cost-effective, and portable farming machine.
The machine efficiently performs four tasks: threshing, separating grain, cutting straw, and winnowing, while also serving as fodder. All these functions happen in one go. The model runs on solar power, which cuts down on energy costs and performance expenses.
District Education Officer Mondayya, District Science Officer Jayapal Reddy, Open Schools Coordinator Nageshwar Rao, District Education Secretary Swadesh Kumar, and Paramita Group of Schools Chairman Dr. E Prasada Rao applauded Subhasree’s achievement.
School directors Prasuna, Anukar Rao, Rashmita, Prachi, Ramana, Rakesh, VUM Prasad, Vinod Rao, TSV Ramana, Hanmantha Rao, along with teachers, shared in the celebration.
