Hyderabad: Parents’ associations are urgently asking the state government to take action against illegal therapy centers for children with autism. These parents claim that many of these centers do not have the necessary resources, qualified staff, or proper government licenses. As a result, they believe these centers are putting vulnerable children at risk.
One frustrated mother shared her experience, explaining, “We went to these centers with the hope that they would provide proper treatment for our children and improve their lives. But, in reality, these illegal therapy centers are wasting precious time that we will never get back.”
Parents are feeling both emotionally and financially overwhelmed by the strain of caring for children with disabilities. They believe they are being exploited by unethical practices and are calling for protection. With their children’s well-being on the line, parents are urging the government to step in and stop this exploitation, ensuring a safer future for their families.
