Hyderabad: The Telangana Mahila Congress president, M Sunitha Rao, recently clarified a disciplinary notice. The women’s wing leaders met with PCC president Mahesh Goud. He assured senior leaders of support for significant roles but warned against breaking party rules.

At a Mahila Congress review meeting in Gandhi Bhavan, Mahesh Goud promised to discuss the demand for important positions for women with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. He emphasized that hard-working members would receive recognition and cautioned against indiscipline. “Anyone violating party discipline will face consequences. Patience and perseverance are crucial in politics,” he stated.

Recently, Sunitha Rao, who received a show-cause notice, spoke with senior Congress leaders and reportedly apologized for protesting against Mahesh Kumar Goud at Gandhi Bhavan. During her visit to Delhi, she met with AICC state incharge Meenakshi Natarajan, All India Mahila Congress president Alka Lamba, and Mahesh Goud.
