In Khammam, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka attended the State Formation Day on Monday. He paid respects at the Martyrs’ Stupa, received a police salute, and raised the national flag at the Police Parade Grounds.
He spoke about the district’s progress and ongoing welfare programs. “In Khammam, 2.42 lakh families have received subsidized gas cylinders, and Rs 26.3 crore has been deposited into beneficiaries’ bank accounts,” he stated.
In Nagarkurnool, State Planning Commission Vice Chairman G Chinna Reddy hoisted the flag. Students from government schools performed cultural programs organized by the District Education Department.
Performances included a dance to “Chuttu Chuttu Chukkala Joodu” by Sai Lahari Dance Academy. Young children in traditional attire danced to Annamayya Keerthana’s “Adivo Alladivo Srihari Vasamu,” presented by Natwar Nritya and Sangeeta Kalakshetram of Kollapur. Telakapalli KK Reddy High School students performed to “Relare Relare Neellalo Nippalle.”
In Nalgonda, Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy urged public representatives and officials to collaborate for Nalgonda district’s development. Speaking at the Police Parade Grounds, he reflected on Telangana’s 12 years of statehood and his pride in being a native of a district known for its history and trust.
The event showcased cultural performances by Bal Bhavan students, development-themed floats and stalls, and awards for public service excellence.
In Suryapet, Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy led the celebrations as the chief guest.
In Wanaparthy, the chief guest N Preetham, chairman of the Telangana Scheduled Castes Cooperative Development Corporation, honored families of freedom fighters and those who fought for Telangana’s statehood. Cultural performances by schoolchildren delighted the audience.
