Passengers in SCR zone can now purchase economy meals at four Hyderabad stations

The Railways in South Central Railway has introduced “Economy Meals” to provide quality and affordable meals to passengers. This service will be available at four stations for those traveling in general coaches. Passengers will have two options: an economy meal priced at Rs. 20 and a combo meal priced at Rs. 50. These meals will be served through extended service counters located on the platforms near the general coaches. Authorized vendors will handle the stocking, service, and sale of these meals. The menu includes options for South Indian dishes. This initiative aims to provide passengers with hygienic and affordable meals. The meals will be served from the kitchen units of IRCTC at these stations.
