A tragic road accident in Meerpet has claimed the life of a pedestrian. The incident took place earlier this week, and the victim, identified as Anil, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday while receiving medical treatment.
Anil, a resident of Meerpet, was hit by a speeding car on Wednesday evening while crossing the road near the MLA camp office. Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for severe injuries. Despite the medical team’s best efforts, Anil tragically passed away.
The driver responsible for the accident fled the scene immediately after the collision, leaving Anil critically injured. The police have registered a case and begun an investigation to track down the driver and vehicle involved.
