Palakurthi candidate Yashaswini from the Congress party criticized the BRS Government for not improving the lives of people in Telangana since its formation. She campaigned in several villages of Devaruppulamandal and accused the KCR Government of betraying the people’s hopes. Yashaswini mentioned that KCR disregarded the important elements of the Telangana Movement – water, funds, and employment. She also accused KCR and his family members of exploiting Telangana’s resources, resulting in the underdevelopment of the State. Yashaswini highlighted that KCR didn’t even offer condolences to the families of Telangana martyrs.

Yashaswini stated that the Congress party is committed to fulfilling its ‘Six Guarantees’ promised to the people of Telangana. These guarantees include the Mahalakshmi Scheme, free TSRTC bus travel for women, subsidized gas cylinders, RythuBharosa, paddy crop bonus, and free electricity. Yashaswini urged party members to work diligently in reaching out to the people and explaining these guarantees.
