A new sports complex will be built in the Warangal East constituency, according to MLA Nannapuneni Narender. He made this announcement during the Under-14 and Under-17 Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Volleyball Warangal Zone Level selections event. Narender mentioned that the constituency used to be underdeveloped before Telangana was formed, but now it is progressing rapidly. The Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, is prioritizing education and healthcare in the area. The constituency has seven Gurukul Schools, and the government is investing Rs 1.20 lakh per student annually. Additionally, a 24-level multi super-speciality hospital is being constructed with a budget of Rs 1,250 crore to serve the health needs of North Telangana. The government has also allocated 25 acres of land for the sports complex, as Warangal previously lacked good sports facilities.
