    Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared his sorrow over the deadly fire at Gulzar Houz in Hyderabad, which claimed several lives. He also announced financial help for the victims and their families.

    In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said he was “deeply anguished” by the tragedy. He offered condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and wished the injured a quick recovery.

    To support the victims, Modi approved an ex-gratia payment of ₹2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the families of those who died. Those injured will receive ₹50,000 each.

    Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma also expressed deep sadness over the incident. In a statement, he said it was heartbreaking to learn about the lives lost and the injuries caused by the fire. He offered his condolences and urged that the injured get the best medical care possible.

    The Governor instructed local officials to provide full medical support to those hurt in the fire. He hoped for their speedy recovery and stood in solidarity with the grieving families.

    Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy visited the site of the accident in Hyderabad’s Old City. He met with local residents and confirmed that at least 16 people had died in the blaze.

    “It’s especially painful to know that children were among those who lost their lives,” he said. He directed medical teams to provide the best treatment available to the wounded.

    Reddy stressed the importance of coordination between government departments to prevent such disasters in the future.

    Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar also reacted to the tragedy. He said he was shocked by the incident and extended his sympathies to the victims’ families. He called on officials to ensure quality treatment for the injured and promised help from the Central Government to support the affected families.

    The tragic fire at Gulzar Houz has shaken the community and prompted urgent calls for safety improvements to avoid further such incidents.
