The State government has appointed former Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy as the new Advisor for Agriculture. Pocharam, who is currently the MLA from Banswada, recently switched from the BRS party to the Congress.
Pocharam has experience in the field of agriculture, having served as the Agriculture Minister in the BRS government from 2014 to 2018.
In another appointment, the government has named Gutha Amith Reddy as the Chairman of the Telangana Dairy Development Co-operative Federation Limited in Hyderabad. Gutha Amith Reddy is the son of Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy. He will hold this position for a period of two years.
Like Pocharam, Gutha Amith Reddy also moved from the BRS party earlier this year.
