Hyderabad is getting ready to host the Miss World 2025 pageant, and the city’s police are leaving nothing to chance.
On Monday, the Hyderabad Police carried out a full-scale security simulation near key tourist spots including Charminar, Laad Bazaar, and Chowmahalla Palace. These areas are expected to be major attractions during the international event.
The dry run focused on two main goals — showcasing the city’s rich cultural heritage and testing the strength of the security setup.
Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand led the preparations. He explained that the team reviewed all safety protocols and verified the backgrounds of everyone involved in the event.
“We examined our multi-layered security system closely,” he said. “Our teams checked law and order arrangements and traffic flow in real time. This helped us identify and fix any weak points right away.”
The police also tested crowd control strategies and coordinated efforts between various departments to ensure everything runs smoothly when the pageant begins.
With participants and visitors expected from around the world, officials are determined to present Hyderabad as a safe, organized, and welcoming host city.
