GADWAL: On Wednesday, Superintendent of Police T. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, unexpectedly visited Maldakal Police Station in Jogulamba Gadwal district. He checked the station’s operations, reviewed official documents, and evaluated the discipline and effectiveness of the police staff.
During his visit, the SP inspected several areas within the station, including the reception, station writer’s desk, technical team section, SHO’s office, men’s rest room, and the lock-up room. He carefully examined records such as the General Diary, Beat Duty Books, and Superior Officers’ Visiting Books.
The SP emphasized that the station should be kept clean every day and urged staff to report any personal or work-related issues to him for quick resolution.
SP Srinivasa Rao looked into the number of personnel at the station and their specific duties. He asked about the daily operations of Blue Colts and Patrol Cars and the beats covered by the station’s jurisdiction. He instructed regular patrolling to prevent thefts and crime.
He ordered stricter checks on drunk driving to reduce road accidents and stressed the importance of responding quickly to Dial 100 calls. He directed that police should promptly reach incident sites and resolve issues efficiently.
The SP called for 24/7 patrolling by Blue Colts and Patrol Cars and advised maintaining thorough village-level intelligence. He encouraged frequent village visits to raise awareness about cyber crimes, online frauds, and drug issues.
The SP urged officers to remain approachable and responsive to the public, ensuring grievances are addressed swiftly and without delay.
Inspector Srinivas, Sub-Inspector Nandikar, and other station staff joined the SP during this surprise inspection. This visit highlights the SP’s dedication to transparency, discipline, and proactive policing, aiming to build public trust in law enforcement throughout Jogulamba Gadwal district.
