Police conduct a raid on hookah lounge in Panjagutta

In Hyderabad, the police raided a hookah parlour in Panjagutta called Miami Galley Café. They arrested nine employees and 15 customers, and confiscated materials used to make hookahs. The owners of the parlour were among those apprehended.

The police found various items used to make hookahs, including hookah flavour boxes, pots, pipes, chimneys, tongs, filters, coal boxes, silver foils, and more. They also seized cash totaling Rs 2,670. The total worth of the seized items was Rs 1.02 lakh.

The raid was conducted based on credible information that the parlour was operating illegally. The owner, staff, and customers were taken into custody and handed over to the Panjagutta police station for further action.
