Hyderabad saw a major police operation on Wednesday night in Sikhula Basti, Kukatpally. Officers seized 45 vehicles that didn’t have the right documents. They also found and closed two illegal liquor shops, and arrested 17 people.
Balanagar Zone DCP Suresh Kumar led the operation. The team included an Additional DCP, two ACPs, four Inspectors, the Special Operations Team (SOT), traffic police, and over 100 officers.
During the search, police found many vehicles without proper papers. They confiscated these vehicles.
Additionally, they discovered two illegal liquor shops in the area. Police seized the alcohol being sold there. Balanagar ACP Naresh Reddy stated that 17 suspects and known offenders were identified. They are now in custody for further investigation.
