Hyderabad: The Moinabad police have filed a case after a complaint about illegal land grabbing at Academia Sports Village. Mohammed Shamsuddin, an international award-winning photographer and CEO of the sports academy, reported Madi Ram Reddy from Aziznagar, Moinabad. Shamsuddin accused Madi Ram of fraudulent activities related to the sports property’s lease.

In October 2021, Shamsuddin leased 2 acres of land from Madi Ram for a sports academy out of a total of 3 acres. However, he claims Madi Ram took over an extra 2 acres, making it seem like 5 acres were leased. The complaint mentions that Madi Ram repeatedly changed the lease terms, extended it until August 2031, halted development, and blocked access to the site.
