    Police in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati received an email warning of a terrorist threat to the Lord Venkateswara shrine in Tirumala. The email was sent by a person named Pranjal Kumar, and included two screenshots with the location of the alleged terrorists. Authorities searched the entire area but concluded that the threat was a hoax. There was no danger to devotees, and no emergency measures were put in place. An investigation has been initiated to identify the person who sent the hoax email. The temple attracts thousands of devotees every day and is heavily fortified.
