Gadwal: T. Srinivasa Rao, the District Superintendent of Police, provided financial help to the family of a deceased police officer, supporting them with funds and a pension.
U. Srinivasulu, who worked as an ARPC (Armed Reserve Police Constable) at the Armed Forces Police Office, died in August 2020 from COVID-19. To help his family, the District SP gave a ₹49,800 cheque from the Corpus Fund and another ₹10,000 cheque from the Widow Pension Scheme.
During the meeting, SP T. Srinivasa Rao checked on the family’s situation and asked about the children’s education. He promised that the police department would continue supporting the families of officers who die while serving. He stressed the importance of their well-being.
The SP instructed the Administrative Officer to ensure that all remaining benefits for the family are quickly processed and delivered.
Administrative Officer Satish, Superintendent Nagamani, and Swathi, the late officer’s wife, were present at the event.
