Hyderabad’s City Police Commissioner, CV Anand, has announced a ban on the use of DJs and firecrackers across the city. This decision has been made to reduce noise pollution, which has become a growing concern, especially during festival processions.
According to the official notice, DJ sound systems, mixers, amplifiers, and any other equipment that generates loud noise are now prohibited during religious processions. The notice explains that using such systems not only harms the body but also contributes significantly to noise pollution.
Furthermore, the use of DJ systems during these events may lead to uncontrolled behavior, which could cause law and order problems. It also creates confusion and affects proper communication between the procession organizers and government departments, making it harder to ensure proper monitoring of the event.
