The TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP parties in Andhra Pradesh are getting closer. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu had a meeting to plan how to work together against YSRCP. The meeting lasted an hour and they may create an action plan soon. They talked about how to face any obstructions YSRCP may create when Pawan goes on his campaign vehicle, Varahi. They also discussed the possibility of having a common manifesto or common minimum programme.

Earlier, Naidu had talks with CPI leader K Ramakrishna, who said the left-wing party would join hands with TDP-Jana Sena if BJP wasn’t involved. However, it seems TDP and Jana Sena are more inclined to work with BJP. Pawan met with BJP leaders in Delhi, who gave him a route map. Naidu praised Modi and said he shared the same vision, indicating that an alliance may happen in the future. The BJP has formed a committee to prepare a charge sheet against YSRCP and file complaints with all probe agencies.

The meeting between Naidu and Pawan is seen as a step forward. They plan to have a few more one-to-one meetings.
