The Jubilee Hills area is gearing up for an important by-election. Political parties like the Congress, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are intensifying their efforts to win the seat.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has stated that the Congress will select candidates only from local residents. He emphasized that outsiders will not be considered for candidacy. Prabhakar mentioned that the party will choose its candidate after discussing with local communities. He expressed confidence that Congress will win this time.
The by-election became necessary after the death of BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath. The BRS is working on strategies to keep the seat. There are indications that the party might nominate Maganti Gopinath’s widow to continue his legacy. However, no official candidate has been announced for this significant seat yet.
