Hyderabad: On Wednesday, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar held the first ‘Meet your Minister’ event in over four months. This initiative was relaunched after guidance from AICC State in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan.
The event had been on hold since January 29, when R&B and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy last conducted it. This time, around 100 grievances were submitted, mostly concerning land disputes, pensions, housing, ration cards, free electricity, welfare programs, and public transport. Key figures like Meenakshi Natarajan and PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud joined the Minister for parts of the event.
Earlier, the Transport Minister commented on the situation with MLC K Kavitha, calling it a ‘storm in a teacup’. He criticized it as a family drama of KCR, suggesting it was for political attention. Prabhakar expressed disinterest in internal matters of KCR’s family and BRS.
He labeled the situation as a political crisis to be handled by the party leader and advised the public, Congress members, and media to stay uninvolved with the BRS affairs.
