President Murmu to Attend LokManthan Event in Hyderabad on November 22

President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate LokManthan-2024 in Hyderabad on November 22. LokManthan is a gathering of nationalist thinkers and is organized by Prajna Pravah, a group of intellectuals, researchers, and academicians who focus on nation-first ideas.

The event will last for three days and will be attended by several prominent figures. Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat are expected to participate.

In addition to discussions and debates on various topics, there will be cultural programs. According to J Nandakumar, the national convenor of Prajna Pravah, the exhibition and cultural shows will begin on November 21.

Delegates from foreign countries, including those who follow pre-Abrahamic traditions, will also be part of the event. Participants like the Yazidis, who have faced attacks by ISIS, are expected to attend and perform cultural dances.

LokManthan is a biennial event that began in 2016. Previous editions have been held in Bhopal, Ranchi, and Guwahati.

President Murmu will arrive in Hyderabad on November 21. She will also take part in the Koti Deepotsavam celebration at NTR Stadium.
