Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Hyderabad on Sunday and was welcomed by BJP State unit leaders and Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. From there, the Prime Minister traveled to Mahabubnagar.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao did not receive Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Hyderabad. KCR has a history of not welcoming the Prime Minister when he visits the State, opting to send Ministers instead. This time, it is reported that KCR is suffering from viral fever.
After the details of Modi’s visit were finalized, Ministers KTR and Harish Rao criticized the Prime Minister. KTR accused Modi of being a fraud who only seeks votes. He questioned whether the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift scheme would be given national status.

– 1.30 pm: Visit Shamshabad airport
– Proceed to Mahabubnagar by special helicopter
– 2.10 pm: Arrive at Mahbubnagar Helipad
– 2.15 to 2.50 pm: Inauguration of various development works in Mahabubnagar
– 3.00 pm: Arrive at public meeting venue
– Stay at the public meeting until 4.00 pm
– 4.10 pm: Depart from Mahabubnagar to Shamshabad by helicopter
– 4.45 pm: Reach the airport
– 4.50 pm: Depart from Shamshabad to Delhi by special flight.
