Gadwal: BRS Jogulamba Gadwal District Coordinator, Kuruva Pallayya, has raised concerns about the state of education in the Nadigadda region. He submitted a formal representation to Aakunoori Murali, Chairman of the Telangana State Education Commission.
At a meeting held today at the district collectorate office, Pallayya pointed out several problems related to education in the region. He emphasized the long-standing neglect of the area by policymakers, especially in the field of education.
Pallayya explained that for the past 60 years, the Nadigadda region has been overlooked when it comes to government educational institutions. He expressed disappointment that the region is still one of the least developed in terms of education in Telangana.
One of the main issues raised was the severe shortage of teachers in local schools. He stated that this lack of teachers is affecting the quality of education students receive. Pallayya urged the immediate hiring of full-time teachers for every school in the region.
Additionally, he requested the establishment of boys’ and girls’ junior colleges in each mandal. He also called for new degree colleges to be set up in the Aiza, Gattu, and Alampur mandals.
