The Parliamentary Privileges Committee met on Wednesday to discuss the charges against Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha. The meeting took place in the office of the committee’s chairman and deputy chairman, Harivansh Narayan Singh. The committee has issued a notice to Raghav Chadha asking why he should not be charged with breach of privilege.

According to the notice, Raghav Chadha is accused of forgery when presenting the proposal to send the Delhi Services Bill to the Rajya Sabha Select Committee. BJP leaders have requested that criminal action be taken against him.

In response, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh accused the Centre of trying to disqualify Raghav Chadha, similar to what happened to Rahul Gandhi. Singh stated that they will not be intimidated and will stand strong as members of the Aam Aadmi Party.
