Raghuveer Singh participates in library festival in New Delhi

Peddapalli District Library Association chairman, Raghuveer Singh, recently attended the Library Festival in New Delhi. He was accompanied by Ayachitam Sridhar, the chairman of Telangana State Libraries. The event was graced by President Draupati Murmu as the chief guest.

During the festival, President Murmu emphasized the significant role libraries played in India’s freedom struggle. Libraries provided valuable information to the public about the country’s history, including the rights of Indian citizens and the sacrifices made by great leaders during the freedom struggle. The libraries also helped spread the aspirations of Dr BR Ambedkar, the founder of India’s constitution. President Murmu highlighted the importance of libraries both in the past and in shaping the future.

The Library Festival was attended by various chairpersons of state library institutions from across India, including Telangana. Raghuveer Singh expressed his gratitude for being a part of this program alongside other esteemed dignitaries.
