Seventeen people, including eight children, lost their lives in a tragic fire that broke out early Sunday at Gulzar House, near Charminar in Hyderabad. The fire reportedly started on the first floor of the building due to an electrical malfunction.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and worked quickly to rescue those trapped inside. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals, including Osmania, Yashoda (Malakpet), and DRDO Apollo, for emergency treatment.

Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, expressed deep sorrow over the incident. He offered his condolences to the families of the victims and wished a fast recovery for the injured.
