South Central Railway (SCR) has advised passengers to be cautious due to ongoing heavy rains and cyclonic weather affecting train services in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Floodwaters have impacted several areas in the Hyderabad Division, such as Bhiknur–Tadmadla, Akanapet–Medak, Gajwel–Lakudaram, and Bolsa–Karkheli, causing water to flow over the tracks.

For safety, authorities have canceled, partially canceled, rescheduled, and diverted some trains. SCR warns that train schedules might change further as the situation develops.

Travelers should consider the weather when planning trips and stay informed through SMS alerts received during ticket booking. Real-time updates are accessible through the NTES, IRCTC, RailOne apps, and the 139 helpline. Information is also regularly shared via print, electronic media, and social media platforms like X (@SCRailwayIndia), Facebook, and Instagram.
