The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that Telangana will receive rainfall from April 7 to April 11, 2025. This rain is expected to bring relief from the recent heatwave that has affected many parts of the state.
From April 7 to 9, light to moderate rain is likely in several districts. These include Adilabad, Nirmal, Kumaram Bheem, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Mancherial, Kamareddy, Rajanna Sircilla, Siddipet, Hanamkonda, Warangal, Mulugu, Medak, and Sangareddy. Some areas may also experience thunderstorms and lightning.
The same weather conditions are expected to continue on April 10 and 11 in the same districts. People living in these areas should prepare for rainy weather throughout the five-day period.
The rainfall is expected to lower temperatures, which will help reduce the impact of the heatwave. However, the untimely rains may cause problems for farmers, especially if they affect crops that are currently in the fields.
For the most accurate and updated weather information, residents should follow IMD’s official updates. More details are also available on The Hans India website.
