Revanth Reddy, who will be the new Chief Minister of Telangana, is currently in Delhi. He went to Delhi suddenly on Tuesday evening after being called by the authorities. The administration announced his name as the chief minister before he arrived in Delhi.
While in Delhi, Revanth met party president Mallikarjuna Kharge and party national general secretary KC Venugopal on Wednesday morning. He thanked them for appointing him as the CLP leader. He will also meet with party leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to discuss cabinet formation and other issues. They will also be invited to the oath-taking ceremony.
In a tweet, the Congress party congratulated Revanth Reddy on his appointment as the Chief Minister of Telangana after his meeting with party president Mallikarjuna Kharge.
