The State Government has started working on improving road and Metro Rail connectivity to the planned ‘Future City’. The new city will be connected to key locations like the international airport, Outer Ring Road, Regional Ring Road, and the new High Court.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had a meeting with officials to discuss the development plans for the Future City. During the meeting, officials showed the Chief Minister the route map for road connectivity from Shamshabad airport to the Future City.
The Chief Minister made some suggestions to improve the plans. He asked the officials to ensure that there is good connectivity from the Outer Ring Road to the Regional Ring Road. He also suggested developing radial roads within the Future City.
Additionally, Revanth Reddy recommended planning for a Metro Rail line that would connect the New High Court to the Future City, passing through Shamshabad Airport. The officials have been instructed to coordinate on issues like land acquisition and to prepare a detailed plan of action as soon as possible.
