    District Collector Rahul Sharma has asked Education department officials to improve facilities in schools chosen under the PM SHRI scheme.

    A review meeting was held with the headmasters of selected schools in the district. These schools include TSMS Malhar, ZPHS Tekumatla, Kaleshwaram, Gollabuddaram, Chelpoor, TSWR EES Chityala, TSMS Ghanpur, and MPPES Yamanpally.

    During the meeting, officials discussed how to use PM SHRI funds, spending under the Samagra Shiksha program, improving 10th-grade exam results, APAR registration, and issuing appointment letters to DSC 2008 candidates.

    Rahul Sharma shared that out of the total Rs 73,76,640 approved for these eight schools, Rs 49,29,356 has been spent so far. He instructed officials to use the remaining funds quickly to complete the planned work.

    He also stressed that the second phase of funds will only be released after the first phase is fully used.
