    A revised committee has been appointed to certify election-related advertisements in Hyderabad. The previous committee has been replaced. The new committee will be led by the Additional Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) as its chairman.

    According to the government order issued on Tuesday, the revised committee will consist of five members. These members include the Returning Officer for the Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency, the Deputy Director and Head of News at All India Radio in Hyderabad, the Assistant Director of Digital Media (Intermediary Expert/Social Media Expert), and the Assistant Chief Electoral Officer for Telangana. The Assistant CEO will also serve as the convenor, while the Additional CEO will chair the panel.

    The committee’s main responsibility is to certify election advertisements related to political parties. These advertisements will be used for campaigns on TV channels, cable networks, cinema halls, radio stations (including private FM channels), public places with audio-visual displays, print media (including e-newspapers), bulk SMS/recorded voice messages, and social media platforms and websites during the general elections in the state.
