Hyderabad: Food lovers in Hyderabad may soon get a taste of one of Saudi Arabia’s most iconic fast-food brands. ALBAIK, known worldwide for its signature fried chicken, is set to enter the Hyderabad market through the launch of its imported frozen chicken nuggets. According to local distributor Aadam Marketing & Distributor, pre-bookings for the product have already begun ahead of its official launch.
The frozen nuggets will initially be available through the distributor’s outlets in Tolichowki and New Malakpet. However, no official launch date or retail pricing has been announced yet. The distributor has clarified that this launch is for frozen retail products and does not indicate that an ALBAIK restaurant is opening in Hyderabad.

ALBAIK was founded in 1974 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia by the late Shakour Abu Ghazalah. The restaurant introduced the country’s first broasted chicken concept and quickly became one of the most loved fast-food brands in the Kingdom. Today, ALBAIK has expanded across Saudi Arabia, as well as international markets including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
The brand is famous for its crispy broasted chicken, signature garlic sauce, seafood meals and its closely guarded blend of 18 herbs and spices, making it a favourite among residents and millions of pilgrims visiting Makkah and Madinah every year.
Not a Restaurant Launch
While many Hyderabad residents have been hoping for an official ALBAIK restaurant in the city, the current announcement is limited to the sale of imported frozen ALBAIK chicken nuggets. Customers will be able to purchase the nuggets and prepare them at home once they become available in stores.
Given Hyderabad’s popularity for Middle Eastern cuisine and fried chicken, food enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the product. Whether this retail launch eventually leads to a full-fledged ALBAIK restaurant in the city remains to be seen.
