SBI, Hyderabad Circle launched a cyber security awareness drive by starting a publicity vehicle from their Local Head Office in Koti, Hyderabad. The vehicle was flagged off by Manju Sharma, Debashish Mitra, and A K Sarathy.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about the increasing number of cybercrimes and promote the use of the cyber crime helpline number 1930, cyber crime reporting portal www.cybercrime.gov.in, and the social media handles of I-4C (Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre) like Cyberdost on various platforms. The vehicle will travel around the city to spread awareness about cyber security and the helpline 1930.
During the event, Manju Sharma highlighted the importance of cyber security in preventing financial cyber frauds. A K Sarathy mentioned that awareness programs can help individuals recognize and avoid cyber threats by teaching safe online habits like creating strong passwords and recognizing phishing attempts.
The event was attended by several officials from SBI, including Jitendra Kumar Sharma, Malathi Nambiar, and Sunil Kumar Goel, along with customers and staff of the bank.
